Ultra Fractal is a surprisingly versatile program, which allows for the creation of art which is quite untypical of that which most perceive to be fractal in origin, and is more akin to the type of images created with software such as Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. The advantage of using Ultra Fractal is that the finsihed work can be rendered to huge sizes, without loss of definition - the artist is not limited to standard computer screen sizes, so large-scale prints are possible. Here are a few examples of this type of work that I have created over the years, mostly just for a challenge.
